Wedding of Carolyn and Ian
The lovely Thistle Hotel was the venue for the wedding of Carolyn and Ian.
Each morning before I leave for a wedding I check
the day’s forecast and hourly breakdown so I can plan the photo shoot timings
to best take advantage of any dry weather. Saturday morning the Met Office
forecast wasn’t really showing anything good, scattered and occasionally heavy
showers from lunchtime with the odd infrequent dry spell before finally clearing
up at dusk.
We joined Carolyn and her Bridesmaids upstairs at http://www.thistle.com/en/hotels/united_kingdom/newcastle/county_hotel/index.html for preparation photographs including the wedding details and of
course Carolyn's dress which looked stunning.
Meanwhile Ian and the guys waited patiently......in the foyer for his moment. The weather held out just in time to capture some lovely shots outside before having to move indoors. At least we were able to utilise some of the light through the large windows..
