17th October 2011
Several weeks ago now I was commissioned to take some images on behalf  of a lovely family. To cut a long story short they required images taken of their father and of the MG TB car he has spent the last 40 years, you heard right (40 years) lovingly restoring this wondeful car to its former glory.
The thing is, it all had to be done without John actually knowing why the shoot was taking place as John's daughter - who commissioned the shoot - wanted to have one of the images printed as a canvas as a Christmas present to her Father.
We got around this as John is a member of a MG Club and he was informed that this was being done on behalf of the club.
I arranged with Beamish Hall Hotel to take the images in their grounds and cannot thank them enough for their assistance. And, after alot of sly texts and messages the shoot was arranged.
From meeting John and having a look at this beautiful car it was clear to see that he is extremely proud and, as we proceeded with the shoot we did have to rest up as anyone who walked in or out of the hotel stopped to admire John's car and hear the wonderful story behind the rebuild.
Everything about the car was immaculate (you could even eat your dinner off the engine) it was serioulsy beautiful you could even say it was sexy in a kind of sleaky stylish curvy way.
Below are a couple of images from the shoot, I hope you like them, as much as I enjoyed taking them.

3rd October 2011
September has been quite a busy month with one thing and another - so thought it about time I publish a new post. So whats been happening?.....

Ben and Sue's Pre-Wedding Shoot
Im still processing the images taken that day so will post a few later.
I have known Ben and Sue for quite some time and they were excellent to work with. They brought along Charlie their son and he done a great job helping with looking after the gear. Charlie did agree to pose for a few shots so it ended up being a lovely family morning out.
Im looking forward to getting some great images of Ben and Sue at their wedding in November at the lovely Copthorne Hotel in Newcastle.

The Wedding of Gary and Stacey
September also saw the wedding of Gary and Stacey. I have to say it was an absolute pleasure to capture their wedding. The morning didnt look that promising, however, the skiles cleared in time for the photographs after their service at Newcastle Civic Centre.
Below are a few images from their lovely day.
