June 2011

Hi welcome back!.
June has been very busy - my intention was to write things down in draft form as they happen - which would simply leave me to publish the blog at the end of the month - whats the saying about the best laid plans!. There has always been something to do - which has had to take preference over the blog.
Anyway here goes.......I'm typing as fast as my two fingers will let me.

June has been another mix of tuitions, a craft fair, 'Lifestyle' portraits sessions, meetings with couples who have booked me to photograph their weddings, organising prints for customers, preparing images for the Landscape Photographer of the year competition and a meeting with a local company who are designing and printing my calendars for 2012 - phew.

Hepple Family Lifestyle Portraits
Below are a some images from a Lifestyle Portrait shoot with Emma, her brother Adam and, her younger sister Caitlin.
Emma - as you will see is heavliy pregnant - done amazingly well - I did have my first aid kit in the car just in case - but thankfully for me - and Im quite sure Emma was pleased too!!.
It was a great session and they were a pleasure to work with. They are a very close family and I think that comes across in the images.

Oliver Dominic's Portraits
Oliver is a lovely handsome and happy little chap and I was delighted to be asked to take some portaits of him recently. The shoot had to take place in-doors due to the great British weather (yes it was pouring down). However, I think we made the best out of a bad situation and managed to get some lovely results.

Sandra's Images
Sandra is another regular student of mine who is starting to get more out of her photography by taking control of the camera and learning to get the best out of its functions. I am very proud of the way Sandra has developed her confidence and photographic skills since starting regular sessions in February.
Recently Sandra informed me that she has just purchased a more up market SLR camera and is also hoping to buy a macro lens. I gave Sandra a lesson in Macro photography techniques recently and, she was so impressed with her results that she is considering having one of her images printed onto canvas - thats great news Sandra and I look forward to seeing that one.
In the meantime I have attached some of Sandra's earlier images up to more recent. I will add more images in the future.

There will be more to add for June but its time for a break - catch up soon - please dont forget to sign on as a regular follower or to leave a comment, thank you.
